Description

Here is my monthly assignment for the Project Canada fandom. If you are a fan of iamp/pc please check it out and consider giving it a shot!

honestly i’m tired of staring at this i was trying to get it done while studying and it didn’t come out how i wanted. XD; I feel like these monthly assignments are going to be like ‘let’s do crazy art experiments with hapo’ time

I was reflecting on Ontarian Simulator a while ago- and I realized it was SUPER WEIRD that Alberta would be going to a grocery store for beer since it’s illegal to sell it at one (although that wasn’t the weirdest thing in that episode haha). So out of curiosity I decided to look into liquor laws in the rest of Canada. Everyone has their own quirks and Canada is generally pretty draconian with liquor laws, but you can get beer and wine in grocery stores in Quebec! Therefore, Ontarian simulator must have taken place in Quebec. xD I adlibbed those lines so it’s my fault

(listening to my voice is so embarrassing oh no but reading the comments warms my heart)

(I had to make extra reference to Ontarian Simulator by throwing in something about crazy driving too)

I finished this in time to celebrate my success at NOT BEING KICKED OUT OF A PUB YESTERDAY. I only went to one (i lied actually i went to two other pubs) other pub in Alberta in my life and although I was with both my parents and my mum had my birth certificate, I had no photo id and they refused to serve us even though i wasn’t planning on drinking and neither were my parents.

Here’s a fun fact: After Quebec rejected Prohibition, it became known as “The Sinkhole of Canada”- but everyone came there to buy booze so Quebec was rolling in cash xD
