ARGGGHHHH

So I've been constructing a timeline all day as means of studying for my East Asian Studies final and I WANTED A BREAK. I have been reunited with my tablet for the weekend. ;_;

Plus I have things to do! Things for this beautiful amazing project that I've now been a part of for an entire year! That's crazy! Seriously, if all goes well there SHOULD be a link to the group to your right. Click it and view all of the beautiful nonsense that goes on there. I mean we draw personifications of the provinces and territories of Canada, you need to check us out. ;_;

OH YEAH I DREW SOMETHING

So for those of you going wtf Hapo this isn't how you draw what did you do, THIS is my first picture that was directly inspired by my artistic hero Ted Harrison. I grew up on his collaborations with Robert Service (The Cremation of Sam McGee, the Shooting of Dan McGrew) and aside from explaining what a messed up childhood I must have had if my parents read that sort of poetry to me (The Highwayman was one of my favourites too...) I suppose it gives you some personal insight into why I feel the need to gaze upon bright colours. This is it, I think. Anyway, Ted Harrison is sort of 'from' the Yukon; he was inspired by it while he lived there (Since I was born there that's why I grew up on him XD) and uses deliciously vibrant colours in all of his artwork, and always does amazing skies.
Seriously, go look him up he's fantastic.

I wanted to sort of capture that style for my submission to this year's Christmas Episode of the I Am Matthewian Project- Hey! I did say I was going to do something Ted Harrison-y last year, didn't I? XD;
